Our port is world renowned, with iron ore, coal and limestone among the large imports
The harbor district is still bustling with activities as restaurants, bed and breakfasts and lake front motels dot the area.
When you stay in Conneaut, make sure you visit our large public beach or take a fishing excursion on one of the many charter boats operating from the port of Conneaut.
Another favorite pastime is sitting on the public dock and watching the comings and goings of many ore boats visiting the port.
Be sure to visit downtown where our city hall watches our our fair city. Another don't miss is the old Carnegie Library which is currently being renovated to a private house.
Our new modern library is a nice site to visit and make sure to look at our modern schools.
